Architectural Projects
Our architectural projects have ranged in size from schools and the renovation of the Prince George airport to gaming centres and the Treasure Cove Casino. We have completed lighting design projects in Burnaby, Prince Rupert and Prince George.
Institutional Projects
NRS Engineering has designed standby power and transfer switch projects as well as fire alarms, nurse call and life safety stations at clinics and hospitals throughout BC. We have also completed projects and designs for the College of New Caledonia Trades building and the Charles Jago Northern Sports Centre at UNBC.
Commercial Projects
Our commercial projects include the Wood Wheaton World of Wheels dealership, the new Cycle North location, Central GM Dealership in 100 Mile House, and the Riverpoint Shopping centre in Prince George.
Municipal Projects
We have designed underground utilities for subdivisions in many communities in BC, as well as a variety of municipal buildings, sports field lighting projects, downtown beautification and streetscape upgrades and other municipal infrastructure.
Highways and Traffic Projects
NRS Engineering have had a long standing contract with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to perform electrical engineering design for roadway lighting and traffic signals throughout British Columbia. We also participated in the recent River Road upgrading project in Prince George.

Industrial Projects
One of our larger industrial projects was the design of the overhead powerline to the Wolverine Compressor Station in Tumbler Ridge including primary metering, high voltage recloser and a river crossing. We have also been involved in the design of pellet plants in Quesnel and Williams Lake as well as the new buildings and offices at the new World Port in Prince Rupert, BC.
